Edward and Christine asked many pertinent questions that the Lord Mayor was unable or unwilling to answer in relation to the Tri-Generation scheme. After shining the spotlight on the Tri-Generation scheme, Cogen pulled out of the project leaving the Lord Mayor's sustainability targets in tatters.

The Lord Mayor's non-negotialble carbon reduction targets are now aspirational targets.

Even thou $8.1 million was spent on reports to justify the Tri-Generation scheme, the Council's exposure if the scheme failed would have been in the hundreds of millions
