Councillor Mandla had a motion to introduced web casting of Council meetings passed in the July Council meeting.

Web casting allow people who cannot physically attend a Council meeting to follow proceedings and promotes open transparency and democracy.

Clover Moore does not like democracy or scrutiny so moved a rescission motion to reverse Councils decision in the August Council meeting. She had to use her casting vote to ensure democracy stayed in the dark.
