Edward Mandla supports the introduction of the South Sydney Employment Lands Act and the opportunity for more affordable housing because people living in shipping containers is simply NOT ON.

Today Mr Robert Borsak (Shooters and Fishers Party) introduced a Bill to the NSW Parliament to fast track the development of South Sydney as the future of a place for people to live work and play, and notably, the future of affordable housing. The South Sydney Employment Lands Act will be a game changer for Sydney.

The City of Sydney is 9% of Australia’s economic activity. Last year, it built 1% of its new housing. We are dragging the chain. Greater Sydney expects us to find a solution for tough problems, or make one if we cannot find one.
