Edward lobbied hard to save historic Berwick Lane after the City of Sydney Council proposed an inappropriate development to put in a mega childcare centre in Darlinghurst which would have seen the destruction of historic Berwick Lane.

Edward organised the residents to mount an effectice campaign to bring common sense to the development and achieved a great outcome for the residents as well as saving Berwick Lane.
